Once I had everything set-up and I was feeling good about it all, I headed for the beach...At the time I had not had any vacation to speak of since about 1998....

The Gulf of Mexico here is not the same as the Atlantic Ocean...there is no comparison..

I had waited for years, and traveled miles and miles to walk up this little path that I thought I should photo it...

Once I made it to the top of the path, I paused again to savor the moment...Ahhh I can smell the salty air now....



It was a beautuful day in August....about 85 and all sunshine...nice little breeze...What a great day to be alive!

I wanted to get into the surf....
